Job Summary and Qualifications
The Provider Onboarding Coordinator is a member of the Provider Support team team, responsible for providing customer service and support to operations colleagues and candidates through management of the candidate’s onboarding process. The Provider Onboarding Coordinator will perform administrative and transactional activities in support of these functions, including but not limited to tracking applicant in the onboarding process, sending correspondence to candidates, following up on new hire paperwork and confirming the candidate to ensure the planned start date is achieved. The Provider Onboarding Coordinator will be engaged to seek ongoing performance improvement opportunities in all areas related to the successful onboarding of candidates for the assigned market, division, and line of business.
What you will do in this role:
+ Deliver exceptional customer service by responding to phone and online inquiries from HR colleagues, candidates, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely onboarding and start dates.
+ Initiate New Hire Personnel Action Requests (PARs) in OnBase and monitor progress throughout the onboarding lifecycle.
+ Track provider onboarding milestones and proactively coordinate start date changes with contract specialists and operations teams.
+ Manage the Remote I-9 process for new hires, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
+ Utilize internal systems and tools to monitor candidate progress and ensure timely movement through onboarding workflows.
+ Maintain consistent communication with internal teams regarding candidate status and onboarding updates.
+ Serve as a liaison between candidates and HCA Healthcare vendors as needed to resolve onboarding-related matters.
+ Review and approve hire actions to ensure accuracy and alignment with organizational standards.
+ Actively participate in performance improvement initiatives to support personal and team development.
What you should have for this role:
+ Bachelor’s Degree required
+ 1 or more years of experience in relevant work experience
