A caregiver in this position works days 6:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. with the ability to travel locally in Northeast Ohio as needed.

A caregiver who excels in this role will:

+ Assist with installing, inspecting, troubleshooting, analyzing and/or maintaining Building Automation Systems, remote connections and system malfunctions.

+ Respond to alarms and alerts.

+ Ensure safe and effective operations and working environments.

+ Monitor all critical temperature and humidity devices, such as meters and gauges.

+ Assist with inspecting and calibrating devices.

+ Assist other caregivers with inventory.

+ Record for sensor and control devices related to digital and pneumatic systems.

+ Work at other Cleveland Clinic locations as needed.

Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

+ A high school diploma or GED.

+ One year of exposure and demonstrated understanding of heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) or building automation systems (BAS).

+ Strong customer service background.

+ Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

Physical Requirements:

+ Typical physical demands require full body motion including ability to perform work while bending, stooping, stretching and climbing ladders.

+ Requires dexterity and strength sufficient to operate required tools and machinery.

+ Typically required to lift and carry machinery and/or equipment weighing 25 to 100 lbs. and/or assist with lifting weights exceeding 100 lbs.

+ Requires color acuity sufficient to distinguish color-coded signage and systems.

Personal Protective Equipment:

+ Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.

Pay Range

Minimum hourly: $17.25

Maximum hourly: $26.31

The pay range displayed on this job posting reflects the anticipated range for new hires. A successful candidate's actual compensation will be determined after taking factors into consideration such as the candidate's work history, experience, skill set and education.
