Job Summary and Qualifications

Every heartbeat matters—and as a Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist, you’ll be part of the team that protects them. In this role, you’ll stand alongside physicians and colleagues to deliver advanced care during lifesaving cardiac procedures. From guiding patients and families through their journey to ensuring precision in every step of treatment, you’ll bring both skill and compassion to moments that improve more lives in more ways.

_This role will primarily report to St. David’s Georgetown Hospital. Must be available to take call for St. David’s Georgetown Hospital and St. David’s Round Rock Medical Center._

Your responsibilities will include:

+ Assisting physicians with complex cardiac and vascular procedures, including angiograms, angioplasties, and stent placements

+ Preparing and supporting patients and families with care, education, and reassurance before, during, and after procedures

+ Operating and maintaining advanced equipment to deliver safe and effective treatment

+ Monitoring patient responses with vigilance and compassion to ensure the highest level of care

+ Safeguarding a sterile, safe environment while serving as an advocate for every patient

What qualifications you will need:

+ Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date

+ Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

+ Associate Degree, or Bachelors Degree, or Certificate

+ (RT) Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer, or (RCIS) Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist, or (RCES) Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date

This comprehensive medical center features the **only hybrid operating room in the county** , a 24-hour emergency department with a **Level II trauma center** , and leading-edge cardiac care through the Heart Hospital of Austin at St. David’s Round Rock.
