    Position: Clubhouse Director - Full Time

     

    Hours: 40 hours per week

     

    Schedule: Monday - Friday 8am-5:00pm; occasional weekends, holidays, and evenings

    Position Summary:

    The Clubhouse Director oversees the daily operations of the Clubhouse program, ensuring that members are supported in achieving their personal, social, and vocational goals. This role requires strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills to manage staff, foster community partnerships, and maintain program compliance and quality. The Director is responsible for supervising the team, supporting member engagement, and ensuring the Clubhouse operates in alignment with its mission and values.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    + Provide leadership and oversight of daily Clubhouse operations to ensure a welcoming, recovery-oriented, and member-driven environment.

    + Supervise, train, and support staff; oversee hiring, onboarding, scheduling, and performance management for a team of approximately 8–10 employees.

    + Facilitate team meetings and ongoing staff development to ensure high-quality service delivery and program growth.

    + Oversee program budget management, including expense tracking, reporting, and adherence to financial guidelines.

    + Build and maintain strong community partnerships to support member engagement, employment opportunities, and program visibility.

    + Plan and coordinate community events and Clubhouse activities that promote inclusion, social connection, and awareness.

    + Ensure compliance with organizational policies, grant requirements, and quality standards.

    + Maintain accurate documentation and reporting within database systems and Microsoft Office programs.

    + Collaborate with leadership on strategic planning, program evaluation, and improvement initiatives.

    Qualifications:

    + Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Social Work, Psychology, or related field required; Master’s degree preferred.

    + Minimum of 3–5 years of experience supervising teams, including hiring, onboarding, performance management, and staff training.

    + Experience in non-profit program management or community-based services preferred.

    + Strong communication skills—both verbal and written—with the ability to interact effectively with diverse populations.

    + Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience working with data management systems.

    + Knowledge of managing and monitoring program budgets preferred.

    + Experience with community engagement, partnership development, and event coordination.

    + Familiarity with and sensitivity to the needs of individuals living with mental health disabilities.

    + Understanding of mental health resources, public benefits systems, and assistive technology resources preferred.

    + Experience with grant writing or reporting is a plus.

    Work Environment:

    + This position is primarily based in the Clubhouse facility and involves regular interaction with members, staff, and community partners.

    + Occasional evening or weekend hours may be required for events or outreach activities.
