Within the Supply Chain function sit our Planning teams. With a population of over three hundred people these teams are a competitor leading, purpose built Global Hub, covering a multitude of Planning areas where we share best practice in a centralized and standard way to deliver industry leading service at best cost and the right level of inventory.
Our Global Supply Planning team is an important part of Coty’s business. Sitting within the Planning zone of the Supply Chain function the team are responsible for ensuring our products are made and delivered to the right distribution centres, on time and in full. This is achieved by delivering the best balance of service, inventory, cost and sustainability, that delivers the Company’s revenue and cashflow objectives.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The Plant Senior Planner executes daily operational activities, within our plants, on finished goods, bulk scheduling and material call-offs to deliver service and inventory level along with stability of the production plan. This is achieved through owning several complex packing lines, making vessels and/or logistics routes in the frozen zone of the plants, whilst delivering continuous improvement on the cross- site processes.
Your main focus:
+ Provide integral support as part of Transition Service Agreement (TSA) team to support recent divestiture including implementing new processes and automating existing processes.
+ Investigate post-divestiture variances and provide solutions ensuring alignment with TSA governance principles.
+ Facilitates communication between related parties during the transition period.
+ Prepare prepaid expenses and related amortization schedules (insurance, maintenance, etc.).
+ Facilitate debt related activities.
+ Prepare and post journal entries.
+ Prepare account reconciliations/analyses for balance sheet and related P&L accounts.
+ Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year end reporting requirements.

Key Success Measures:
+ Service and inventory KPIs.
+ Factory cost with stability KPIs and POSS deviations.
+ Execution of the systems.
+ Process ownership and improvement.
Core Responsibilities:
+ Plan production lines and/or making vessels in the frozen zone for the complex lines in your scope, respecting POSS to ensure service and inventory delivery.
+ Plan supplier call offs for short term deliveries, liaise with suppliers, local carriers and Logistics to co- ordinate receipt.
+ Run relevant reports, analyze the data to proactively identify trends and issues, escalate and action plan as appropriate. Identify the priorities and align those with the business KPIs, communicate at the daily direction setting meeting.
+ Clearly, and effectively, communicate frozen zone planning decisions made to Plant Operations and Planning teams, ensuring all stakeholders have received and understood the decisions and answering any questions.
+ Participate in meetings with internal stakeholders and deputize for the Plant Planning Senior Manager.
+ Own a process across the wider Planning department, communicate it to new starters, ensure compliance across the team and continuously review, evolve and improve it.
+ Analyze data and information to proactively identify low profitability SKUs, escalating and action planning as appropriate.
+ Coach and train Planners as necessary on systems and processes and support with the onboarding of new starters.

+ Use the processes, systems, and tools available to ensure all tasks are value add.
+ Identify improvement opportunities for the area of responsibility, raising these as appropriate and implementing successfully (where possible).
