As a **Security Officer - Retail Patrol Driver** in **Fort Collins, CO** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will be responsible for monitoring and patrolling retail and mall locations to help create a secure environment for visitors and staff. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you conduct routine patrols and provide excellent customer service. In this driving-required role, you will rely on your strong communication skills and commitment to our core values of teamwork, integrity, and a people-first approach to deliver outstanding service and support throughout your assigned areas.

What You’ll Do:

+ Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

+ Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education

+ Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams

+ Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service

+ Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

+ Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, responding to emergency situations.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism at all times.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail or mall location, including the business interior and surrounding perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity.

+ Observe and report any suspicious activity or potential hazards encountered during patrols to the appropriate personnel.

+ Support Allied Universal management and law enforcement authorities in critical situations or investigations as needed.

+ Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential disturbances and/or criminal activity within the location.

+ Complete required documentation and reports in a timely and accurate manner as directed by site policies and Allied Universal protocols.

+ Remain alert and attentive to the surroundings, adapting to various working environments and conditions as required by the location.

+ Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements:

+ A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.

+ Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
