Printed Circuit Board Test Technician
**Location:** Longmont, CO
**Type:** Full-Time
**Pay:** $25.00 – $32.00/hour

Key Responsibilities
+ Follow all ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) and board handling procedures.
+ Handle Moisture Sensitive Devices (MSD) per component moisture sensitivity levels (MSL).
+ Identify faulty components or manufacturing defects on production PCBs down to the component level and submit for rework.
+ Read, interpret, and troubleshoot using schematics.
+ Conduct functional and boundary scan testing on production PCBs.
+ Perform RF testing.
+ Run software backups, diagnostics, and preventive maintenance on tester control computers; clean viruses or fragmented files as needed.
+ Train and support production test operators.
+ Assist with test engineering development projects.
+ Participate in process and test station improvements, efficiency enhancements, and safety initiatives.
+ Create accurate test reports and document findings.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams as needed.
+ Track yield and troubleshooting data for tested assemblies.
+ Support corporate and site 6S objectives.
+ Perform other duties as assigned, including occasional overtime and Saturdays.
Required Skills & Abilities
+ Strong computer literacy.
+ Excellent deductive reasoning and problem-solving skills.
+ Clear and effective verbal communication.
+ Ability to manage multiple tasks independently.
Experience & Education
+ AA/AS Degree in Electronic Technology or equivalent work experience.
+ 6+ years of relevant experience in PCB testing and electronics troubleshooting.
+ Experience with test equipment, including HP 3070, Genrad, network and spectrum analyzers, and oscilloscopes.
+ Ability to troubleshoot circuits down to the component level.
+ Preferred experience with amplifiers and attenuators.
+ Capable of supporting multiple product lines simultaneously.
Physical Requirements
+ Good manual dexterity for handling sensitive devices.
+ Ability to bend, kneel, and reach outward/upward with arms.
+ Prolonged sitting (up to 3 hours).
+ Ability to read fine print and monitor displays at 3 feet.
+ Clear verbal communication over short distances.
+ Ability to distinguish colors and use optical zoom devices (microscopes, magnifiers).
+ Walk and carry up to 20 lbs regularly; lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
Work Environment
+ Manufacturing environment with exposure to lead/lead-free solder, solvents, and cleaning agents.
+ Low-level noise up to 70 dB from machinery and fans.
