You will lead transformational initiatives that optimize store operations, enhance customer experience, and drive operational excellence across our rapidly expanding global grocery footprint. Partner with world-class cross-functional teams to identify breakthrough opportunities, develop innovative solutions, and implement programs that support long-term strategies, improve efficiency, reduce costs, and scale best practices across our physical grocery store network. Key job responsibilities
• Lead complex, high-impact operational projects that start with the customer and work backwards to revolutionize their grocery shopping experience
• Take end-to-end responsibility for multi-functional teams and projects, thinking long-term and acting on behalf of the entire company to drive sustainable growth
• Build and execute innovative project plans with clear milestones, deliverables, and success metrics that simplify complex operational challenges and create scalable solutions
• Partner with Store Operations, Supply Chain, Inventory Management, PXT, Legal and Technology teams using strong judgment and good instincts to implement transformative processes and systems
• Analyze multiple inputs, opportunities and risks with a continuous learning mindset to recommend breakthrough, data-driven solutions
• Mentor and develop exceptional team members while building world-class organizational capability and raising the performance bar
• Develop industry-leading scalable solutions that can be implemented across multiple regions and store formats while maintaining relentlessly high standards
• Create bold directions and inspire breakthrough results that scale across Amazon's worldwide physical grocery store network
• Communicate project status, issues, and results to senior leadership with speed, transparency, and calculated risk-taking
• Measure and report on project outcomes and business impact while accomplishing more with less and being resourceful in pursuit of customer value

Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of team management experience
- Bachelor's degree, or experience in an industry role
- 7+ years of experience in retail operations, project management, or supply chain with demonstrated ability to dive deep into complex problems
- Experience leading cross-functional projects with measurable business impact and customer-focused outcomes
- Strong analytical skills with experience using data to drive decisions and earn trust through results
- Demonstrated ability to influence without authority and deliver results through others
- Experience with process improvement and operational excellence methodologies, showing bias for action
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to disagree and commit
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA or advanced degree
- 10+ years of experience in grocery retail operations or related field with demonstrated ownership mentality
- Experience working with international teams across multiple regions, showing cultural sensitivity and adaptability
- Track record of delivering breakthrough results in complex organizational structures while maintaining the highest standards
- Experience with inventory management systems and supply chain operations, demonstrating ability to invent and simplify
- Strong business acumen with understanding of retail financial metrics and frugality principles
- Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools that enable speed and efficiency
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and compliance requirements with attention to detail
- Experience presenting to and influencing senior leadership with backbone to disagree and commit
- Ability to travel up to 25% to visit store locations, showing commitment to understanding customer needs firsthand

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $136,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $225,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
