Cost Planning Manager

Adecco Permanent Recruitment is partnering with a manufacturing client in the Cookeville area to hire a full-time **Cost Planning Manager.**
This position will lead efforts to increase profitability and reduce costs across all new and ongoing projects by driving cost estimation, budget tracking, and continuous cost improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Develop and implement cost management strategies to support profit growth
+ Drive accurate cost estimating and profitability/ROI planning across projects
+ Provide accurate quotations and re-quotations, including for engineering changes
+ Lead cost-reduction activities from pre-production through launch
+ Monitor progress, track actual costs vs. forecasts and report project profitability to senior leadership
+ Improve processes for cost tracking, data analysis, and internal communication
+ Leverage historical trends and performance to improve forecasting accuracy
+ Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend operational improvements
+ Collaborate cross-functionally to improve cost planning accuracy
+ Provide direct leadership to cost planning department staff
Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Engineering, or related field
+ 5+ years of experience in cost planning, cost engineering, program controls, or financial/project analysis
+ 2+ years of experience managing teams and direct reportsAutomotive manufacturing experience strongly preferred
Position Offers:
+ Base salary starting in the 70K–$90K range

**Pay Details:** $70,000.00 to $90,000.00 per year
