We are seeking a skilled Process Engineer to develop roll-to-roll (R2R) manufacturing processes in support of new product initiatives. This role focuses on advancing manufacturing capabilities to maintain a competitive edge in the market. You will provide technical support through troubleshooting, process optimization, and system upgrades, while assessing new equipment acquisitions to enhance production efficiency.
Responsibilities
+ Develop roll-to-roll (R2R) manufacturing processes for new product initiatives, including evaluating and selecting appropriate materials.
+ Advance manufacturing capabilities to sustain a competitive market edge.
+ Provide technical support for current manufacturing operations through troubleshooting, process optimization, and system upgrades.
+ Assess and recommend new equipment acquisitions to improve production efficiency.
+ Conduct root cause analyses, implement corrective actions, and document quality-related issues within manufacturing.
+ Work closely with technicians and operators to ensure proper equipment setup, delivering clear instructions and training as needed.
+ Lead process validation and equipment qualification efforts to ensure compliance and performance.
+ Collect and analyze production data to evaluate yield and identify areas for improvement.
+ Support prototyping and experimental trials, interpreting critical process data.
+ Adhere to and contribute to Six Sigma, ISO, and EH&S management systems by following established policies and procedures.
+ Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Essential Skills
+ Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
+ 5-10 years of roll-to-roll (R2R) experience within industries such as converting, printing, paper, or lamination.
+ Experience with process, design, and product development.
+ Proficiency in Six Sigma and 5S methodologies.
+ Strong mechanical aptitude for identifying machine failures and improvement opportunities.
+ Ability to read technical prints and drawings.
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills.
+ Basic CAD skills.
+ Experience with data analysis tools.
+ Experience performing root cause analyses.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $100000.00/yr.
