    Seeking a Survey Crew Chief in the Coralville Area for a Civil Engineering Company!!

    Job Description

    The role involves coordinating with project managers, executing field surveys, and ensuring accurate data collection for design and construction projects. Candidates with technical or civil/construction backgrounds are preferred.

    Responsibilities

    + Coordinate with project managers to plan and execute field surveys.

    + Ensure accurate data collection for design and construction projects.

    + Communicate effectively with contractors and prepare data for construction staking.

    + Perform construction staking, land surveying, and interpret civil drawings.

    + Conduct topographic and boundary surveys.

    + Utilize GPS and robotic survey equipment.

    Essential Skills

    + 2-3 years of experience with construction staking, land surveying, and interpreting civil drawings.

    + Experience as a crew chief.

    + Experience with topographic and boundary surveying.

    + Familiarity with GPS and robotic survey equipment.

     

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

     

    + High school diploma or GED with at least two years of relevant experience preferred.

    + Valid driver’s license.

    + Knowledge of CAD and Microsoft Office.

    + Ability to resolve on-site conflicts and interpret technical documents.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Coralville, Iowa.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
