    Position Overview:

    Colas Rail Egypt a leader in underground metro construction is looking for a proactive and detailoriented IT Specialist to support its project teams This role ensures the smooth operation of IT systems that are vital to the safety efficiency and precision of construction activities The IT Specialist will manage hardware and software resources uphold data integrity and collaborate with engineering and project teams to align IT solutions with operational needs

    Key Responsibilities:

    IT Infrastructure Support

     

    Provide and maintain IT equipment and software access

     

    Ensure continuous operation and compliance of IT systems with Colas Group standards

     

    Conduct hardware maintenance and manage inventory including tracking changes

     

    Software Vendor Coordination

     

    Assist in evaluating and testing new software

     

    Support IT tool implementation and upgrades with the IT Manager

     

    Coordinate with vendors to meet business and technical needs

     

    Data Management Accuracy

     

    Maintain accurate IT asset and user access records

     

    Ensure data security and integrity

     

    Support digital documentation and data flow for project teams

     

    Collaboration Communication

     

    Build strong relationships with internal teams and external partners

     

    Promote IT best practices and knowledge sharing

     

    Represent the company positively through professional conduct

    Qualifications:

    Education:

    Bachelor degree in Engineering Computer Science or related field

     

    CCNA and MCSA certifications are required

    Experience:

    At least 1 year in IT support preferably in construction infrastructure or railway sectors

     

    Experience with metro or largescale infrastructure projects is a plus

    Technical Skills:

    Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel PowerPoint Word

     

    Strong knowledge of PC hardware Windows OS network cabling TCPIP LANWAN Microsoft Servers and firewalls

     

    Experience with IT asset and inventory management systems

    Core Competencies:

    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

     

    High attention to detail and data accuracy

     

    Ability to multitask and work independently

     

    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

     

    Team-oriented and collaborative

     

    Committed to safety ethics and continuous learning

    Languages:

    Fluent in Arabic and English

     

    French is a plus
