    Job Description

    Within the consortium in charge of the rehabilitation of Cairo Metro Line 1, COLAS Rail has an active role in the

     

    Integration of the Railway System, working in coordination with the different partners and technical packages

     

    involved in the project.

     

    Requirements management is a key and strategic function in the project development and in the system integration

     

    phase to ensure that contractual requirements are fulfilled, the railway system is properly designed to fulfil the

     

    requirements so that sub-systems are properly working together and meet their assigned performance.

     

    The Configuration Management is a system engineering discipline that formalizes the management of the

     

    configuration and controls change to the system throughout its lifecycle.

     

    The Requirements and Configuration Engineer will be part of the Requirements and Configuration Team and

    participate in:

    - Populate, maintain and up-date DOORS NG ® data base (This tool is used for the requirements

     

    management).

     

    - Split and create requirements and links in DOORS NG®.

     

    - Work closely with the different subsystems to allocate the requirements and close them with evidence.

     

    - Link with Test requirements (FAT, SAT) and T&C management tool.

     

    - Update monthly KPIs regarding the Requirements Management activity.

     

    - Ensure that all changes to configuration items are documented and updated on the configuration

     

    baselines.

     

    - Monitor and Support the Change Control Board Process, including follow-up on decisions and

     

    coordination with relevant stakeholders.
