Job Title: Production Worker

Job Description

We are seeking dedicated and skilled production workers for our 2nd and 3rd shifts at our main facility. You will have the opportunity to train on machinery and must be comfortable lifting up to 30-35lbs independently. Team lifting is encouraged for heavier tasks.

Responsibilities

+ Learn and maintain a working knowledge of all equipment and machinery within the relevant department.

+ Position parts and monitor operations on equipment to produce products that meet established production standards.

+ Make minor setups, such as changing plate sizes and setups for various sized tubes and studs.

+ Inspect panels or parts to ensure specifications meet quality standards, notifying appropriate personnel of any issues.

+ Complete production reporting and quality paperwork accurately as required.

+ Use banding equipment and hand-jacks for proper movement or storage of product or material.

+ Maintain good housekeeping and adhere to established safety procedures.

+ Follow all company policies, procedures, and work instructions, including those in the Employee Handbook, SOPs, MOPs, JSAs, and Safety Manual.

+ Maintain awareness of and contribute to the quality, safety, environmental, and product compliance policies and activities; report all quality issues, unsafe acts, and unsafe conditions to the proper personnel.

Essential Skills

+ High School Diploma or GED, or equivalent experience.

+ Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. repetitively unassisted for an 8-hour shift.

+ Proficiency in using various tools and measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, tape measure, dial indicator, and feeler gauges.

+ Capability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and crouch for an 8-hour shift.

+ Must be able to use hands and fingers to handle or feel machinery, equipment, or parts and work near moving mechanical parts.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience with hand tools, power tools, and machine operation is a plus.

+ Proficiency in using micrometers and calipers is advantageous.

Work Environment

We require long pants and steel toe shoes; metatarsal guards are provided. Shifts are 1st Shift: 6a-2:20p, 2nd Shift: 2p-10:20p, and 3rd Shift: 10p-6:20a, with mandatory overtime of 1-2 hours per day.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Red Lion, Pennsylvania.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.75 - $19.35/hr.
