Job Title: Finish Carpenter Apprentice, $25/hr. based on experience

Job Description

Join a dynamic team where your skills in finish carpentry can truly shine. As a Finish Carpenter Apprentice, you will be responsible for installing cabinets, doors, door hardware, fiberglass reinforced plastic (FRP), vinyl wall protection, wood blocking, and plywood sheathing. Responsibilities

+ Install cabinets, doors, and door hardware.

+ Work with fiberglass reinforced plastic and vinyl wall protection.

+ Perform finish carpentry tasks including trim and cabinet blocking.

+ Engage in general carpentry duties such as framing and rough carpentry.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in commercial construction.

+ At least 1 year of carpentry experience.

+ At least 1 year of experience in finish carpentry.

+ Proficiency with hand tools and installation techniques.

+ Ability to read and interpret tape measures and construction drawings.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Familiarity with metal stud construction.

+ Experience in general labor and new construction.

Work Environment

Work takes place on construction sites located in Columbus and Central Ohio. The standard work schedule is Monday through Friday, with shifts from 6:30 AM to 3:30 PM. While overtime is rare, it may occasionally be required for certain jobs.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Columbus, Ohio.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $25.00/hr.
