Shipping and Receiving

Job Description

The Shipping and Receiving Specialist will be responsible for managing inventory processes, including receiving products, putting away inventory, pulling orders, palletizing, and loading trucks for shipment. The role requires occasional forklift operation and management of Bills of Lading and UPS Worldship processes. Quarterly inventory counts are also part of the responsibilities.

Responsibilities

+ **Receive and put away inventory efficiently.**

+ **Pull orders and prepare them for shipment.**

+ **Palletize and load trucks for shipping.**

+ **Operate a forklift for up to 10% of the day.**

+ **Manage Bills of Lading and UPS Worldship.**

+ **Participate in quarterly inventory counts.**

+ **Ensure products and materials are correctly labeled and wrapped on skids.**

+ **Use a computer to weigh, label, and ship products.**

+ **Track shipments and orders using computers and Excel.**

Essential Skills

+ **Experience in warehouse operations.**

+ **Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).**

+ **Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.**

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ **Experience with automotive parts or industry is a plus.**

+ **Six months of experience with sit-down forklift operation is desirable.**

+ **Ability to work independently with accuracy and handle large work volumes.**

+ **Proactive approach in seeking additional work tasks.**

+ **Basic math skills, including decimals and fractions, with a passing score of 70% or higher on a math test.**

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $18.50/hr.
