    Job Description

    We are seeking dedicated production workers to operate and manage packaging machinery, ensuring the efficient and effective packaging of products. This role involves setting up machinery, adjusting components, and managing the packaging process from start to finish.

    Responsibilities

    + Operate and manage packaging machinery, including auto packagers, cutters, fillers, and sealers.

    + Set up machinery by adjusting hoses, adding new film and rolls, and configuring blades.

    + Input orders and runs into the computer system.

    + Handle and resolve machinery jams and unclog any blockages.

    + Inspect products for defects to ensure quality standards are met.

    + Connect hoses to tankers and fillers and perform maintenance tasks such as climbing ladders to access machinery.

    + Ensure all tasks are performed in a safe manner, adhering to GMP standards.

    Essential Skills

    + At least 1 year of experience in GMP environments.

    + At least 1 year of experience in packaging.

    + At least 1 year of manufacturing experience.

    + Ability to lift 40 lbs individually.

    + Comfortable climbing ladders and working at heights.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Bilingual abilities are a plus.

    + Experience in blending and batch mixing is preferred.

    Work Environment

     

    Work in a very clean, GMP-compliant, and temperature-controlled facility. The environment includes packaging machinery, kettles, tanks for mixing, and various inventory. While the facility is well-maintained, it can be warmer around machinery and kettles. Dress code requires wearing hairnets, beard nets, no jewelry, work pants, and non-slip boots.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Broadview, Illinois.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $18.85 - $18.85/hr.
