Description We are looking for a skilled Staff Accountant to join our team in Greensboro, North Carolina. This Contract-to-permanent position offers an excellent opportunity to demonstrate your accounting expertise while contributing to the financial success of the organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate tax, general ledger management, and financial consulting.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and manage corporate tax returns and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

• Oversee sales tax filings and maintain accurate documentation.

• Create and review journal entries to maintain the integrity of accounting records.

• Monitor and reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy.

• Assist in automating accounting tasks and improving processes for efficiency.

• Develop detailed project plans related to financial operations and expense management.

• Provide insights and recommendations through financial consulting services.

• Support the accounting close process and ensure timely reporting.

• Analyze and define projects related to construction accounting and resource allocation.

• Contribute to the implementation of accounting systems and standards. Requirements • Proven experience in corporate tax processes and compliance.

• Strong knowledge of general ledger and journal entry management.

• Familiarity with accounting software systems and automation tools.

• Expertise in financial consulting and strategic planning.

• Ability to manage accounting close processes and reconcile accounts.

• Solid understanding of accounting principles, including GAAP and IFRS.

• Experience with project planning and construction accounting.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
