• Junior Project Manager

    Robert Half Technology (Houston, TX)


    Description

    + 2–3 years of hands-on experience in project coordination, ideally within IT or business transformation initiatives.

    + Demonstrated ability to support core project management activities, including tracking action items, preparing status updates, scheduling and facilitating meetings, documenting minutes, and maintaining organized project records.

    + Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail and time management.

    + Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced skills in PowerPoint, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Planner.

    + Capable of managing multiple priorities in a dynamic, cross-functional environment.

    + Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field preferred.

    + Experience working with ServiceNow is a plus.

    + Familiarity with ITIL practices or certification is preferred

    Requirements

    + Maintain and regularly update comprehensive project schedules using Microsoft Project and Microsoft Planner.

    + Monitor task progress, dependencies, and key milestones across infrastructure, application, and security sub-workstreams.

    + Assist in managing and maintaining RAID logs (Risks, Actions, Issues, Decisions).

    + Create and refine PowerPoint presentations and status reports for steering committees and stakeholder meetings.

    + Collect updates from subject matter experts and transform them into clear, executive-level visuals and summaries.

    + Support the development of timelines, Gantt charts, dashboards, and overall project health indicators.

    + Organize and maintain project documentation across Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and other collaboration platforms.

    + Ensure consistency and alignment between project plans and documentation repositories.

    + Contribute to the creation and standardization of templates and reporting formats for efficient project tracking.
