    Job Title: Quality Assurance Technician

     

    Pay: $15 - $25

    Job Description

    We are seeking a meticulous Quality Assurance Technician to ensure the highest standards of quality and safety in our food manufacturing processes. The role involves conducting comprehensive inspections and tests on raw materials, finished products, and packaging, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and safety standards.

    Responsibilities

    + Conduct quality inspections on all relevant equipment and items.

    + Perform testing on finished products and raw materials as required.

    + Participate in product weight control, temperature monitoring, and packaging inspections.

    + Obtain and maintain HACCP certification in line with company guidelines.

    + Adhere to food safety and quality system requirements, meeting all regulatory and customer standards.

    + Maintain communication with various departments, management, and employees to address any production concerns.

    + Ensure all paperwork is clear, legible, and accurately completed in accordance with SOPs.

    + Follow Good Manufacturing Practices to maintain a clean and sanitary work environment.

    + Comply with all required work-safe practices, including wearing PPE in designated areas.

    + Report any food safety and quality-related issues to management immediately.

    + Perform additional duties as assigned.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in quality assurance and quality control.

    + Proficiency in data entry and maintaining accurate records.

    + Knowledge of food manufacturing processes and food safety standards.

    + Ability to perform mathematical calculations using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.

    Work Environment

     

    Work in a world-class, SQF-certified facility located in Caldwell, Idaho. The environment is fairly temperature-controlled, although it can vary from hot to cool. With over 45 years of experience, our facility produces approximately 5 million tortillas daily, employing over 300 full-time employees and serving a global customer base.

    This is a Contract position based out of Caldwell, Idaho.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $25.00/hr.
