Job Title: Manufacturing Cleaner ($16/hr._
Job Description
Join our team as a Cleaner, where you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness throughout the manufacturing areas across seven buildings. Your duties will include sweeping, mopping, dusting, and other cleaning tasks. You will also be responsible for buffing, waxing, and polishing floors, as well as performing lawn care tasks such as mowing and weeding. Reporting any maintenance issues to the appropriate team member and following all safety procedures on the production floor are crucial aspects of this role.
Responsibilities
+ Perform sweeping, mopping, dusting, and other cleaning duties throughout the manufacturing areas.
+ Buff, wax, and polish the floors.
+ Perform lawn care tasks such as mowing the lawn and weeding.
+ Report any maintenance issues to the appropriate team member.
+ Follow all applicable safety procedures while on the production floor.
Essential Skills
+ Custodial skills
+ Cleaning and housekeeping experience
+ Janitorial duties and procedures
+ Ability to work independently and unsupervised
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Previous cleaning/janitorial experience preferred, but not required.
+ At least 6 months of experience working in a manufacturing setting preferred.
+ Ability to read and follow directions.
+ Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs.
+ Ability to work standing up for the majority of the shift.

Work Environment
This is a 1st shift position with flexible start times, allowing you to choose between 6 am-2:30 pm, 7 am-3:30 pm, or 8 am-4:30 pm shifts. Breaks include a 15-minute and a 30-minute unpaid break. Work alongside approximately 200 employees in a family-owned company that values a collaborative work environment.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Youngstown, Ohio.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $13.00 - $16.00/hr.
