Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

Join our team as a Maintenance Technician at a prestigious resort and country club. You will play a vital role in ensuring the facilities are well-maintained and operational for guests and members. This position offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a variety of tasks ranging from general maintenance to specialized repairs. This job will pay $22 - $26 an hour and can interview this week!

Responsibilities

+ Perform maintenance and repairs across the resort facilities including tennis courts, pickleball courts, workout gym, clubhouse, villas, hotel area, and pool area.

+ Conduct seasonal maintenance projects during the winter shutdown to repair and enhance facilities.

+ Drain and deep clean the hot tub, sauna, and pool.

+ Paint rooms, repair sheetrock, and replace light fixtures, doors, and furniture as needed.

+ Ensure all appliances, outlets, A/C, and heater units in the workers' quarters are functional.

+ Fix damaged windows or blinds and clean bathrooms throughout the facilities.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in electrical, building maintenance, plumbing, and general maintenance on commercial properties.

+ Proficiency with hand and power tools, including drills, for maintenance repair tasks.

+ Basic knowledge of plumbing, HVAC, and electrical systems.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Certified Pool Operator license is highly desirable.

+ Professional appearance and communication skills.

+ Strong plumbing skills.

Work Environment

The work environment is a resort/private country club, offering a flexible work schedule within a seven-day operational facility. Standard working hours are from 7 am to 3:30 pm with a 30-minute lunch break. There is potential for overtime, though it is not mandatory. The role requires working on-site with various resort amenities and facilities.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mashpee, Massachusetts.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $26.00/hr.
