    Job Title: Janitorial Worker

    Job Description

    We are seeking a dedicated janitorial worker with prior experience in sanitation. The role requires candidates to handle materials as they come off production machines, build boxes, and stage materials for shipping in a fast-paced environment.

    Responsibilities

    + Pack materials efficiently as they come off the production line.

    + Build boxes and prepare materials for shipping.

    + Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in designated areas.

    + Adhere to cleanroom protocols, including wearing the required attire.

    + Communicate effectively with leads, supervisors, and managers.

    + Read and interpret Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Orders.

    Essential Skills

    + Prior experience in janitorial or sanitation work.

    + Ability to lift 30 pounds regularly.

    + Capability to stand for long periods in the same position.

    + Experience in a fast-paced production environment.

    + Strong communication skills.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Ability to function on a computer to access work instructions.

    + Experience in medical assembly or cleanroom environments is an advantage.

    Work Environment

     

    Work on the 1st shift from 7am to 3pm in a medical device company cleanroom environment. Candidates must be comfortable wearing cleanroom attire, including a hair net, eye protection, and close-toed shoes. The environment is temperature-controlled, promoting a pleasant working atmosphere. Lockers are available for personal belongings, and candidates can wear shorts or pants under cleanroom attire. Be prepared to sit or stand for up to 11 hours a day.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Vernon Hills, Illinois.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
