    Job Title:** **Dishwasher

    Position Summary:

    The Dishwasher is a critical part of the hospital café’s operations, responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. This role supports the kitchen and treyline teams by ensuring all dishware, utensils, and equipment are properly cleaned, sanitized, and ready for use.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Operate commercial dishwashing equipment to clean and sanitize dishes, trays, utensils, and kitchen tools.

    + Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing area, including floors, walls, and sinks.

    + Sort and organize clean items for storage and future use.

    + Assist with trash removal, recycling, and proper disposal of food waste.

    + Support kitchen staff with basic food prep and cleaning tasks as needed.

    + Monitor chemical levels and ensure proper usage of cleaning agents.

    + Follow all hospital and departmental safety, sanitation, and infection control protocols.

    + Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations.

    Essential Skills:

    + **1.5+ years of experience** in the food service industry.

    + **1.5+ years of job tenure** at previous employers.

    + Ability to **lift up to 50 lbs** and **push up to 100 lbs** .

    + Strong **customer service orientation** and teamwork skills.

    + Experience in **food service, cleaning, and food preparation** .

    Schedule & Compensation:

    + Full-time shifts available, including weekends and holidays.

    + Competitive hourly wage based on experience.

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.50/hr.
