    First Shift Opportunity

     

    Pay: $22/hr

    Job Description

    We are seeking a dedicated General Laborer to join our concrete plant located in York Haven, PA. This full-time position involves working in a dynamic environment where you will be an integral part of our production team.

    Responsibilities

    + Lift 50 lbs or more on a regular basis.

    + Break down molds of concrete pieces that have cured overnight.

    + Extract 'green concrete' from molds and clean them for the next use.

    + Operate saws and prepare molds with re-bar and spacers.

    + Maintain cleanliness by sweeping and shoveling concrete scraps.

    + Assist in smoothing poured concrete in preparation for curing.

    Essential Skills

    + Previous construction experience or experience in a heavy manufacturing setting.

    + Basic math skills and ability to convert measurements.

    + Experience with hand and power tools.

    + Ability to use a tape measure with 1/16" measurement accuracy.

    + Capability to lift and maneuver 50 lbs+ regularly.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Direct experience with concrete manufacturing, preferably pre-cast and/or rebar.

    Work Environment

     

    Work at our large facility with 30 to 40 ft high ceilings, equipped for both summer and winter conditions. While the plant is heated in winter, it is not air-conditioned in summer; however, the overhead doors are opened to allow a breeze. The environment includes concrete dust and machinery, with no requirement for hearing protection. Long pants, a T-shirt, and steel-toe boots are required attire, with gloves and safety glasses provided by the company if needed.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
