Job Description

Join our team as an Electrical Assembly Technician and play a vital role in the electrical assembly of various drives and electric transformers. You will work alongside a team of professionals, following work orders and schematics, and utilizing hand and power tools to complete assemblies. This role focuses on working on the medium voltage line, assembling large drives in a bench assembly setting.

Responsibilities

+ Perform electrical assembly of various drives and electric transformers.

+ Follow work orders and schematics for assembly tasks.

+ Collaborate in teams of 2-4 to complete assignments.

+ Utilize hand and power tools for assembly processes.

+ Work on medium voltage line, focusing on large drive assemblies.

Essential Skills

+ Mechanical aptitude.

+ Experience with hand and power tools.

+ Proficiency in electrical assembly and wiring.

+ 2+ years of assembly experience (mechanical or electrical) with the same company.

+ 1+ years of blueprint or schematic reading experience.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in soldering and electronic assembly.

+ Basic knowledge of electrical and wire diagrams.

Work Environment

Work during the 2nd shift hours from 3:00pm to 1:00am, Monday through Thursday, in a clean, well-lit manufacturing environment. Safety is a priority, requiring steel-toed shoes and safety glasses. The brand-new facility is located in Franklin, with plans to expand and add 1200 jobs over the next 8-10 years.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.27 - $20.07/hr.
