• Accounting Manager

    Description We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join our team in Denver, Colorado. In this role, you will oversee critical financial operations, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and lead a team to achieve organizational goals. This is a Contract-to-permanent position, offering an excellent opportunity for career growth within a dynamic and collaborative environment.

    Responsibilities:

    • Supervise and manage month-end closing processes to ensure timely and accurate reporting.

    • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring all entries are properly documented.

    • Lead financial statement audits, coordinating with external auditors and preparing necessary documentation.

    • Oversee payroll operations, including multi-state payroll for under 100 employees.

    • Manage fixed asset ledger and ensure proper tracking and reporting of fixed assets.

    • Prepare and review journal entries to maintain accurate financial records.

    • Implement and monitor accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations.

    • Utilize NetSuite and Microsoft Excel to streamline accounting processes and generate reports.

    • Provide leadership and guidance to accounting staff, fostering skill development and team collaboration.

    • Collaborate with other departments to support organizational financial objectives. Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or financial management roles.

    • Strong knowledge of month-end close procedures and general ledger management.

    • Proficiency in preparing and reviewing financial statements and audits.

    • Experience with multi-state payroll for small teams (under 100 employees).

    • Skilled in working with accounting software, particularly NetSuite.

    • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas and data analysis.

    • Proven leadership abilities and experience managing accounting teams.

    • Familiarity with fixed asset management and ledger tracking.
