    Job Title: Maintenance Technician

    Job Description

    We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. You will be responsible for ensuring the continuous operation of production equipment by performing maintenance tasks and addressing machine breakdowns in a food production environment.

    Responsibilities

    + Respond promptly to production floor maintenance calls from machine operators.

    + Perform assigned maintenance tasks and address machine breakdowns to ensure continuous production.

    + Participate in crew transition meetings and daily transition meetings with other Maintenance Technicians.

    + Read and interpret blueprints, instruction manuals, and mechanical drawings.

    + Utilize measuring instruments such as calipers and multimeters.

    + Rework and rebuild mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.

    + Perform electrical troubleshooting on 480 volt 3-phase systems, including repairing and rewiring motors under supervision.

    + Set up and operate various types of production equipment and machine tools, including lathes, mills, and welders.

    + Perform basic PLC troubleshooting.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in maintenance, electrical, mechanical, hydraulics, and pneumatics.

    + Experience with preventive maintenance and PLC troubleshooting.

    + Ability to perform electrical troubleshooting on 3-phase systems.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + High School Diploma or equivalent.

    + 3-5+ years of industrial maintenance experience.

    + Strong problem-solving skills with a mechanical understanding of machinery.

    + Some experience in forklift operations.

    + Ability to use a multimeter.

    + Basic math and computer skills.

    + Effective and efficient communication skills.

    Work Environment

     

    Work in a food production setting with a required dress code of hair net, beard net, bump cap, and steel-toed shoes. Enjoy a climate-controlled environment and a 2-2-3 rotating schedule with shifts from 5:50 AM to 6:00 PM.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $72000.00 - $75000.00/yr.

    Workplace Type

     

    This is a fully onsite position in Butler,WI.
