    Job Title: Machine Operator

    Job Description

    We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating machinery to produce parts that meet precise fabrication specifications. This role requires attention to detail, technical expertise, and a commitment to quality and safety. This role involves press brakes and CNC machines. This job will pay $20 - $25 an hour.

    Responsibilities

    + Accurately set machine programs and maintain operations according to fabrication drawings.

    + Ensure all work meets quality standards and adheres to safety protocols.

    + Collaborate with team members in a fast-paced, production-focused environment.

    Essential Skills

    + Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings with precision.

    + Proficient in safely operating shop overhead crane systems.

    + Skilled in using measuring tools such as tape measures, framing squares, protractors, laser devices, and assorted levels.

    + Knowledge of standard AISC steel shapes and AWS welding symbols.

    + Strong communication skills (must be able to read and speak English).

    + Comfortable working in a paperless environment and using production-related software.

    + Quality- and safety-minded; OSHA certifications are a plus.

    + Reliable transportation to and from work.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Machine Operation experience.

    + CNC experience is a big plus.

    + Experience reading blueprints.

    + Basic math skills.

    Work Environment

     

    The work environment is a large, loud, metal machine shop. The shift runs from 6 am to 3:30 pm. The role involves operating CNC-controlled machinery such as high-speed drills, saws, plate tables, Anglemaster, Liberator, shear, and press brake.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Berlin, New Hampshire.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $26.00/hr.
