Job Title: Maintenance Electrician

1st shift

Responsibilities

+ Assist with the operation of troubleshooting, diagnostics, and housekeeping.

+ Perform repairs on commercial buildings, industrial systems, vehicles, grounds, and maintenance equipment.

+ Assist with troubleshooting and repairs of packaging and handling machinery, plumbing systems, kitchen equipment, roofs, drains, shop, and grounds equipment.

+ Clean, lubricate, and service a wide variety of pumps, valves, pneumatic controls, electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic devices.

+ Replace and repair building finishes such as ceiling tiles, door hardware, wallpaper, and paint walls, piping, floors, and equipment.

+ Troubleshoot, evaluate, and make recommendations to upgrade maintenance operations and implement savings opportunities.

+ Maintain and operate fire and life safety systems such as fire alarm systems, fire pumps, and related fire protection system equipment.

Essential Skills

+ Mechanical, hydraulics, and pneumatics expertise.

+ Electrical troubleshooting and repair skills.

+ Experience with conveyor maintenance and electrical systems.

+ Ability to read and interpret schematics and wiring diagrams.

+ Journeyman Electrician card or a trade school/associate degree in electrical or electro-mechanical fields.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Proficiency in preventive maintenance and industrial PLC troubleshooting.

+ Experience with relays, switches, gearboxes, conveyor systems, boilers, and mechanical maintenance.

+ Familiarity with equipment such as motors, photoeyes, and electrical systems.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $42.00/hr.
