Description We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented Accounting Specialist to join our team in LaSalle, Colorado. In this position, you will play a key role in managing financial transactions, ensuring accuracy in invoicing, payroll, and reconciliations, and supporting the overall accounting functions of the organization. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently while maintaining a high level of accuracy.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and issue customer invoices promptly and with precision.

• Process billing for invoices, rebills, and credits, ensuring proper documentation and compliance.

• Analyze monthly revenue figures generated from invoices to identify discrepancies or trends.

• Create purchase requisitions, secure necessary approvals, and submit delivery confirmations.

• Input payroll data, including hours worked, vacation, and sick leave balances, into payroll systems.

• Generate reports and provide support for ad hoc projects as needed.

• Perform account reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy and resolve discrepancies.

• Collaborate with teams to address vendor invoices and ensure proper coding and entry.

• Maintain accurate records and documentation for all accounting transactions.

• Take on additional responsibilities and duties as assigned to support the accounting department. Requirements • Proven experience in accounting functions, including invoicing and reconciliations.

• Familiarity with payroll systems such as ADP and Dayforce.

• Proficiency in accounting software, including Great Plains.

• Strong understanding of purchase requisition processes and vendor invoice coding.

• Ability to accurately enter and manage both customer and vendor invoices.

• Excellent analytical skills to review monthly revenue and financial data.

• Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining accuracy in all tasks.

• Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple responsibilities effectively.
