QUALITY CONSULTING GROUP, a leader in the pharmaceutical, biotech, medical devices, and manufacturing industry, is looking for a talented, highly motivated and enthusiastic to join our team. In this role, you’ll work with a highly enthusiastic team, contributing in a world-class manufacturing industry in Puerto Rico & USA.
Responsibilities:
+ Perform basic calibrations of instruments on process and utility equipment.
+ Assist the team with maintaining an up-to-date working spare parts inventory system for the equipment/ systems the team is responsible for.
+ Ensure that calibration paperwork, instrument files and work order documentation is completed with accurate information.
+ Participate in a detailed training program in order to develop one’s knowledge in the instrumentation field and other areas of the plant.
+ Assist in the development, revision, and updating of related SOPs for work related areas.
+ Configure and repair microprocessor-based instruments and controllers.
+ Basic troubleshooting and repair of process control and laboratory instruments.
+ All work must be completed in accordance with CFRs, cGMPs, SOPs, and company policies.
+ Perform regular certification of equipment to verify conformance to industry standards and procedures.
+ Maintain an up-to-date cGMP training book.
+ Plan and schedule own work activities with operations staff to minimize impact to production activities.
+ Other functions that may be assigned.
Qualifications:
+ Associate's degree in related area
+ +2 years of Instrumentation experience.
+ A craftsperson knowledgeable of pneumatic, mechanical, and electronic instrumentation.
+ Knowledgeable in calibration PM, repair activities and troubleshooting equipment and system.
+ Has received training or hands on experience in such specialized subjects as analog and/or digital electronics, microprocessors and/or computers, and the operation and maintenance of particular lines of field instrumentation.
+ Ability to effectively communicate ideas through verbal and written form.
+ Intermediate computer skills
+ Ability to interact constructively with peers/teams.
+ Ability to seek outside resources as needed.
+ Non-standard Shift
