POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT

POSITION:Warehouse Attendant 1st

DEPARTMENT:Warehouse

SALARY CLASS:Salary Non Exempt

RESPONSIBILITIES:

+ The Warehouse Attendant position will be responsible for inventory management.

+ .Do cycle counts every month / spot checks of inventory

+ Be able to operate a powered industrial truck and small walking jack as needed to unload trailers.

+ Verify shipments against packaging slips.

+ Keep work areas clean.

+ Issue out parts and put away in coming parts

+ Other duties as needed.

+ Issue / Reverse goods Receipts

Working Conditions:

+ Production and maintenance settings

+ Exposure to various chemicals and machinery.

+ Slippery floors, cold temperatures, Warm temps

Relationships:

Internal: Employees on the production line and plant management

Special Skills:

+ Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbally in English

+ Bilingual skills helpful

+ Excellent conflict resolution skills

+ Computer knowledge required

+ Good organizational skills

+ Ability to work 50+ hours

+ Good attendance and safety records

+ Plus have working knowledge of Excel and Word.

+ Maintenance back round would be helpfulfor identifying parts

+ System skills–SAP

+ Self-starter who works independently with minimal supervision

+ Good Attendance Record (Less than 3 points for internal candidates)

Education:

+ High School degree or equivalent required, or equivalent combination of education and experience
