Bloomberg has a rare opportunity for a motivated, hardworking Executive Producer to launch a weekend news program across our audio and video platforms. The ideal candidate for this role will have extensive experience leading a team, producing live breaking news coverage, managing and directing anchors, conceiving and executing new programming ideas, and conceptualizing stories for broadcast platforms. This weekend morning show will air live on both video and audio platforms, requiring a unique skillset that is adaptable and able to work effectively across a variety of mediums.

The ideal candidate for this role will have strong leadership skills, extensive editorial experience, the ability to generate new ideas and use creative production techniques to produce compelling content.

We’ll trust you to:

+ Lead, manage and supervise a team of producers and anchors

+ Conceptualize and execute compelling cross-platform programming across a variety of live and on-demand platforms

+ Edit and oversee scripts, graphics, guest bookings and audio/visual elements

+ Communicate and coordinate with reporters, editors, producers and managers across the newsroom

+ Direct show anchors, audio engineers, video ops and producers on a variety of projects

+ Lead weekend breaking news coverage for all audio and video platforms

You'll need to have:

+ 10+ years of live news production experience

+ Exceptional editorial judgement and production skills

+ Effective management skills, delegating and overseeing a variety of projects across a broad team

+ Strong knowledge of TV and radio operations; experience leading a live control room

+ Ability to conceptualize, generate and execute multiplatform programming ideas and strategies

+ Experience working with high-profile talent and guests

+ Familiarity collaborating across departments, using a wide network to get things done

+ Proficiency with newsroom software systems such as ENPS, and agility with Windows

+ Availability to work weekends

Salary Range = 170000 - 195000 USD Annually + Benefits + Bonus

The referenced salary range is based on the Company's good faith belief at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, work experience, market conditions, education/training and skill level.
