About theJob
This is an
opportunity for a high-potential financial analyst to take their skills to the
next level within Siemens high-growth SaaS environment at Brightly Software.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys motivating change, finding
opportunities for improvement, and backing ideas with solid data analysis.
You’ll be part
of the Financial Planning & Analyst (FP&A) Sales Finance team, which
collaborates closely with Performance Controlling and Portfolio & Services
Finance. Reporting directly to the CFO, you’ll have regular exposure to senior
leadership across Finance and Sales.
What youwill do
+ Analyze sales and marketingimportant metrics to uncover performance insights and share findings withsenior leadership
+ Monitor sales metricsto understand how key indicators are impacting performance and regularlyengage with Senior Leadership in Sales Finance to provide complete insightinto key takeaways
+ Collaborate with global finance andsupport teams (Revenue Ops, Order to Cash, Accounting, Legal, Tax, etc.)to streamline sales enablement processes
+ Spot data trends and provideactionable recommendations to Sales Finance Leadership prior to strategicintervention points
+ Investigate performance anomalies,identify root causes, and elevate findings with clear storytelling
+ Evaluate sales territory coverageand opportunity pipelines to optimize regular sales activity
+ Partner with Business Intelligenceto design automated tools and dashboards for real-time insight into salescycle metrics surrounding Lead Generation, Opportunity Creation, PipelineManagement, and Deal Closure
+ Deliver insights on cross-sell andup-sell opportunities to enhance customer lifetime value. Recommend waysto structure or compensate the sales team to improve output
+ Support monthly reviews withanalysis of Sales Productivity indicators.
+ Support critical initiativesincluding benchmarking and competitor market analysis.
What youneed
+ Minimum Bachelor’s degree infinance, or equivalent qualification in a finance-based course of studieswith demonstrated academic excellence. Post-graduate qualifications are aplus (MBA)
+ Min. 3 years of professionalexperience in financial analytics, sales/marketing analytics, consultingin a SaaS environment OR if you have completed a Finance talent programfor accelerated career development
+ Demonstrated financial modellingexperience, that includes advanced analysis of customers, products, orsales reps
+ Advanced experience and skills inDigitalization and Automation, especially you are firm with PowerBI,KNIME, Alteryx and Snowflake and are able to understand the requirementsfor data management and value flows in order to build Senior ManagementReporting and dashboards. Experience with Anaplan is a plus
+ First hands-on experience in usingAI to improve operational efficiency, financial analytics and dataautomation.
+ Advanced proficiency in MicrosoftExcel, PowerPoint, and Word
+ Basic knowledge of standardsales/marketing metrics is preferred (CAC, SQL/MQL, Close Rates, AOV, TCV,LTV)
+ Basic understanding of salesincentive planning and calculation
+ Exposure to Salesforce.com (CRMtools) and its connected tool environment (data analytics andvisualization tools such as Clari), and pipeline/funnel management is aplus.
