ASE, and Akima company, is looking to hire a Senior Systems Engineer to serve a subject matter expert for USCG IT systems lifecycle management.

This Hybrid position requires that you live within commuting distance from Alexandria, VA.

Responsibilities

+ Provide advanced technical knowledge and analysis of highly specialized applications and operational environment, high-level functional systems analysis, design, integration, documentation, and training.

+ Provides implementation advice on complex problems that require expert level knowledge of the subject matter for effective implementation.

+ From a computer systems standpoint, participates as needed in all phases of software and hardware development with emphasis on the planning, analysis, testing, integration, documentation, training, and presentation phases.

+ From a business process standpoint, provides technical advice, guidance and direction for the improvement, modification, and re-engineering of business processes, policies and procedures for any functional area under consideration or review.

+ Applies principles, methods, and knowledge of specific functional areas of expertise to specific programs.

+ Directs the composition of/or composes and finalizes documentation.

+ Assist in development of USCG RF comms systems.

+ Provide technical and organizational expertise to USCG IT product line managers.

Qualifications

+ Education and Experience:

+ Four-year Baccalaureate Degree from an accredited University in the field of Engineering and Ten (10) years of C4IT systems engineering experience, OR

+ Master’s degree in science, Engineering, Technology, or Mathematics with eight (8) yearsof C4IT system engineering experience.

+ Active DoD Secret clearance is required.

+ Able to commute into office in a Hybrid capacity as needed.
