Overview
Vice President and General Manager responsible for day to day operations, long term planning, strategic development and all revenue for a multi facet division of Paychex. This segment of the business focuses mainly on Insurance Retention, Sales, Operations, and a Benefit Enrollment product line.
Responsibilities
+ Leads team responsible for the formulation of Insurance strategy including identifying strategic opportunities and business initiatives to drive growth and service of the agency.
+ Ensures the achievement of revenue and profit margin objectives by meeting sales and service goals.
+ Responsible for the critical underwriting and risk pool management, strategies, and execution of all insurance offerings.
+ Responsible for market competiveness and actions to drive sales and penetration into the marketplace.
+ Overall management of the operations to retain the client base through service and retention programs. Directs Operations to achieve budgeted profit results for all this Division.
+ Develops, set strategy and coordinates new business initiatives to expand the product lines. Seeks new business opportunities in new markets to increase revenue.
+ Responsible for all aspects of operations of benefit enrollment applications and tools to clients nationwide. Provides overall direction in the technical planning and execution of services and client support.
+ Responsible for field and virtual Health and Benefits sales teams.
+ Manages, directs and monitors key business indicators to ensure the product offering within the Health and Benefits area are contributing to the overall profitability of Paychex.
+ Partners with Paychex leaders, sales, operations and marketing, to develop and implement a strategic plan to maximize revenue and operational efficiencies for all products within the agency.
+ Continues to grow and develop the Insurance line of products nationwide.
+ Ensures all employees understand the strategic plans and how their work connects to corporate goals.
+ Hires and develops all senior management positions within the realm of these business functions.
+ Other duties as assigned to support the general purpose of the position’s function.
Qualifications
+ Bachelor's Degree - Required
+ Master's Degree - Preferred
+ 10+ years of experience in Insurance industry experience.
+ 8 years of experience in General Manager experience leading and growing high performing sales, service, and support operations teams.
