Unity House is dedicated to making life better for our communities and is seeking a detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support our Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) Team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys organization, communication, and supporting a mission-driven team that helps individuals in need.
Responsibilities
+ Manage and maintain medical records with strict confidentiality
+ Operate and coordinate the management information system
+ Maintain accounting and budget records for clients and program expenditures
+ Triaging incoming phone calls and ensuring proper routing
+ Coordinate communication between the program and recipients
+ Perform general office tasks including photocopying, faxing, and filing
+ Greet and assist visitors in a professional, friendly manner
+ Contribute to a work culture of inclusion and belonging
Qualifications:
+ High School Diploma or GED required; Associate degree preferred
+ Minimum 1 year of experience in an administrative or medical records role
+ Experience in a client-based setting a plus
+ Strong verbal and written communication skills
+ Professional and courteous demeanor
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and general computer use
+ NYS Driver License
