We are seeking a dedicated Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our company. The role involves answering phones, engaging with customers, and managing various administrative tasks. You will also be responsible for overseeing the front desk area, conference room, and assisting with building facility maintenance.
Responsibilities
+ Answer and screen incoming calls with excellent phone etiquette.
+ Engage with customers, providing them with a friendly and professional experience.
+ Forward calls to the appropriate staff members and manage company voicemail.
+ Print and process Mail Order orders for the warehouse.
+ Handle emails from the company inbox and direct them appropriately.
+ Maintain cleanliness and order in the front receptionist area and conference room.
+ Assist walk-in visitors, such as shipping companies, and ensure they can access the front door.
+ Conduct monthly reviews of building lights and report outages.
+ Coordinate and monitor building maintenance projects with external companies.
+ Oversee and manage the dishwasher weekly, ensuring cleanliness and order.
+ Monitor kitchen trash and coordinate regular pick-up.
+ Ensure restrooms are stocked with necessary supplies.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
+ Strong clerical and phone support skills.
+ Excellent customer service abilities.
+ Computer literacy and data entry skills.
+ Personable with great organizational skills.
+ Experience handling inbound calls.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Prior customer service experience, preferably in a front desk or receptionist role.
+ Confidence in answering phones and assisting customers.
+ Ability to work collaboratively as a team player.
+ Experience as a receptionist is essential.
Work Environment
The work environment is fun and dynamic, with a focus on team building and product testing. Employees enjoy quarterly bonuses based on sales metrics, holiday pay, a 401k with a 4% match, and health insurance with no premium out-of-pocket costs, only a deductible. The office, located at the front with a warehouse in the back, operates Monday to Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM. Please note, there are two cats in the office, so comfort with animals is necessary. The front desk is the first point of contact for customers, requiring a personable and welcoming demeanor.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Carmel, Indiana.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
