    About this role:

    Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Operations Processor for the Check Deposit Processing Returns and Returns Research teams within Banking Operations as part of Consumer and Small Business Banking Operations.     In this role you will:

    + Support management in the day-to-day supervision of less experienced team providing guidance, and resolution to issues contributing to overall effectiveness of team

    + Provide feedback and present ideas for improving or implementing processes and tools within Operations group

    + Perform or guide others on complex escalated issues that require planning, evaluation, and interpretation

    + Prioritize work and provide daily work leadership and mentorship to team

    + Provide training and technical guidance to less experienced staff

    + Lead or contribute to implementation of new or revised processes and procedures that require coordination among operation teams

    + Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals

    + Interact with internal customers

    + Receive direction from leaders

    + Exercise independent judgment while developing the knowledge to understand function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements

    + Serve as a resource to other departments on transaction structure, documentation, and company policies

    + Effectively identifying and executing escalation paths when needed

    Schedule:

    + Monday-Friday Department hours can vary from 5:00am-6:00pm Site Location Time.

    + Opportunities for Overtime based on business need. Some Saturdays may be required.

    + After training is complete, a rotating weekly hybrid schedule will apply.

    Training:

    + You will receive in-depth on-the-job training, and coaching to learn about Wells Fargo banking products, procedures, and services.

    + Training will be 6-12 weeks. This time frame may be longer since Lead will support both Production and Research.

    + You are required to attend the full duration of this paid 6-12 weeks of training.

    + We’re open from Monday - Friday, 5:00am -6:00 pm (Site location time). Your regular work schedule will be based on business need and may include working at least one weekend day.

    Required Qualifications:

    + 6+ years of Operations experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

    Desired Qualifications:

    + System knowledge of CSTAR, Operations Image Browser, Common Recon, IRX, Hogan, RE15, or IBR

    + Leadership experience including training and providing performance feedback to staff/managers

    + Quality review skills

    + Ability to read and process checks

    + Ability to motivate staff to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment

    + Ability to coordinate multiple tasks and distribute complex work

    + Intermediate Microsoft Office skills

    + Ability to achieve high production and quality standards

    + Ability to make timely and independent judgment decisions while working in a fast-paced and results-driven environment

    + Effective organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills

    + Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

    + Ability to follow policies, procedures, and regulations

    Job Expectations:

    Pay Range

     

    Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.

     

    $25.48 - $36.54
