    Job Title: Accounts Payable Specialist

    Job Description

    A large, well-established construction company is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join their finance team in West Springfield, MA. This is a straightforward AP role focused heavily on data entry and invoice processing, supporting multiple entities and client accounts.

    Responsibilities

    + Accurately enter and process a high volume of vendor invoices in a timely manner.

    + Maintain and update financial records with precision and consistency.

    + Respond to inquiries and resolve discrepancies related to invoices and payments.

    + Manage AP functions across several business units and client names.

    + Ensure all documentation is properly filed and organized for audits and reporting.

    + Assist in preparing checks, ACH payments, and wire transfers.

    + Input and maintain vendor information in the accounting system.

    Essential Skills

    + 2+ years of experience in Accounts Payable or a similar finance role.

    + Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.

    + Experience working with multiple entities or client accounts is highly preferred.

    + Familiarity with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

    + Excellent organizational and time management skills.

    + Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

     

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

     

    + AP experience is a must.

    + Knowledge in invoicing, purchase orders, and reconciliation.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $30.00/hr.
