•Within Azure Data, the messaging and real-time analytics team provides comprehensive solutions and a robust platform that enables users to ingest high granularity signals (real-time & observability) and complex data, converting those into a competitive advantage in real-time for both end users and modern applications.
•The Fabric Graph team is looking for a Software Engineer II, dedicated to simplifying the process of extracting insights from the vast scale of interconnected business data prevalent in every organization. We are driven by our goal to enable all users to visualize, analyze, and enrich the intricate relationships within their business data. Our team is focusing on developing advanced graph technologies that empower users to unlock the full potential of their data.

Responsibilities
+ Lead the development of core components fora scalable, cloud-based infrastructure, including distributed storage, networking, and service orchestration.
+ Design, implement, and drive modularization, optimization, testing, reliability, and observability of cloud infrastructure components.
+ Defineand implement observability metrics, analyzing them to enhance system performance, reliability, and operational efficiency.
+ Contributeto the collection, classification, and analysis of large-scale operational and system performance data.
+ Guide the team in executing multi-group project plans, release schedules, and task prioritization

Qualifications
Preferred/Minimum Qualification
+ Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience
+ 1+ year experience in designing, developing, and maintaining large-scale cloud infrastructure and distributed services.
Other Requirements
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check:
+ This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
Preferred/Additional Qualifications
+ Preferred experience with graph database technologies and query languages, such as OpenCypher or Datalog, in a cloud-based infrastructure.
+ Preferred knowledge of query execution, workload optimization, and performance tuning in distributed database systems and cloud infrastructure.
Software Engineering IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $100,600 - $199,000 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $131,400 - $215,400 per year.
