             About the role As a **Test Automation Lead** , you will make an impact by driving end-to-end test planning, execution, and automation strategy to ensure high-quality software delivery. You will be a valued member of the **Quality Engineering** **and Assurance** team and work collaboratively with stakeholders, developers, and business analysts to deliver robust testing solutions. In this role, you will: + Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project requirements and define testing scope. + Develop comprehensive test strategies and plans, including test types, priorities, and timelines. + Create detailed test cases and scenarios based on user stories and functional specifications. + Develop automation scripts using Gherkin/Cucumber BDD frameworks. + Assign test cases to team members and monitor test execution progress. + Review test results, identify defects, and log them with clear reproduction steps. + Manage test environments and test data. + Conduct test reviews to ensure adherence to quality standards. + Track and prioritize defects to ensure timely resolution. + Generate comprehensive test reports summarizing results, metrics, and issues. What you need to have to be considered + Proven experience in test planning, strategy, and execution. + Strong knowledge of test case design and defect management. + Hands-on experience with Gherkin/Cucumber BDD automation frameworks. + Familiarity with defect tracking systems and test management tools. + Ability to manage test environments and data effectively. The annual salary for this position is between [$53,477– $92,500] depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
