Job Summary:
We are seeking adedicated and compassionate Speech LanguagePathologist Assistant (SLPA) to join our team. The SLPA will work underthe supervision of a licensed Speech Language Pathologist to providehigh-quality speech and language services to clients. This role involvesclinical, educational, documentation, and treatment-related activities withinthe scope of responsibilities and plan of care assigned by the supervising SLPand/or physician

Responsibilities:
+ Assist in implementing speech and language therapy plans developed by the Speech Language Pathologist
+ Provide direct treatment to clients under supervision
+ Document client progress and maintain accurate records
+ Support educational and clinical activities as directed
+ Communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members
+ Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations and professional standards
Minimum Requirements:
+ Associate’s degree from an SLPA program or Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
+ Completion of at least 100 hours of supervised fieldwork or equivalent clinical experience
+ Current SLPA certification or licensure in the state of practice
+ Knowledge of and adherence to professional standards of practice
+ Preferred: One (1) year of prior experience as an SLPA
+ Must be at least 18 years of age
+ TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray (if applicable)
+ Current health certificate (as required by contract or state regulation)
+ Must meet all federal, state, and local employment requirements
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Experience working in schools or pediatric settings.
+ Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
+ Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
