Job Description:
Location – New York
For a portfolio of Banking clients, we are recruiting a high performance Business Development Manager to generate new market opportunities for Data and AI services, lead our go to market propositions and business development activities, and own the sales process. This person will carry a revenue target and will be measured on quality of the revenue and total contract value. Capgemini believes in the importance of delivery. This person will also be responsible client deliveries and outcome, as well as client experience.
Key responsibilities:
• Be a consultative seller of Capgemini's Insights & Data services and be an ambassador its brand promise - "Get The Future You Want" - for our clients. Partner with our insurance clients to enable accelerated digital transformation and business change, leveraging insights and data.
• Be responsible for bookings, revenue and business growth in the assigned portfolio of accounts by selling innovative industry solutions that leverage to data, insights, and analytics to meet needs of these Banking clients, on their journey to being digital Banking
• Proactively engage in C-level executives at client organizations, and take ownership of solving their business problems and leverage cloud, data, analytics technologies. Organize and lead client strategy workshops, large opportunities and participate into client orals
• Open new logos and expand business in existing logos
• Work closely with other business development resources in Capgemini to shape larger deals and increase our market share in the data and analytics space, within in the Banking industry
Key Requirements
• Must be a thought leader who is keen to understand client's business and data challenges, and propose practical solutions
• Data and Analytics sales and delivery experience in Banking is required
• Prior experience in working with hyperscalers and insights/data product partners will be required
• Ability to win and perform in billable consulting engagement as a partner is preferred
• Ability to think big picture, design transformational changes and proactively shape deals is required
• Able to rapidly mobilize responses to clients and turn around proposals quickly with the support of a lean team
• Some travel expected with this role when required to sell outside of the NY Metro area. Our other 2 hubs are Chicago or Atlanta.

This role may be eligible for other compensation including variable compensation, bonus, or commission. Full time regular employees are eligible for paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), and any other benefits to eligible employees.
