Job Description
Responsible for installing, programming, troubleshooting, and maintaining electrical, instrumentation, and control systems in a power plant environment. Duties include working with PLCs, RTUs, VFDs, SCADA/HMI systems, calibrating instrumentation, and ensuring compliance with NEC/NFPA codes and safety protocols. This role requires strong technical skills, the ability to interpret schematics and diagrams, and hands-on experience with preventive and corrective maintenance.

Skills and Requirements
- Strong Electrical aptitude within maintenance (not just installation!!)
o Can read and interpret single line and three line diagrams
o Experience troubleshooting motors, generators, electrical devices, etc.
- Proficient in industrial electrical systems with hands-on experience in:
• Rockwell Automation platforms
• Allen-Bradley controllers
• Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs)
• Toshiba drives
- Skilled in using electrical testing equipment:
o Multimeters
o Meggers
o Insulation resistance testers
o Contact voltage testers - Heavy Industrial Experience
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering
Knowledge of safety protocols including Lockout/Tagout procedure, Osha 30, NFPA 70 E
