    The following position is to join our RTX Corporate, Enterprise Services team:

    RTX is seeking a seasoned Change & Release Manager to support Enterprise Services’ Shared DT Services. The role is a member of a team responsible for the consistent execution of standardized change management processes and operational procedures, ensuring effective governance over changes related to corporate and enterprise digital technology products. As a key member of the Change Management team, the role oversees review, approval, and post-implementation assessments of all service changes, ensuring minimal disruption and maximum service reliability. The role also contributes to the development of a Release Management methodology for corporate infrastructure services, aiming to reduce service interruptions by addressing service interdependencies during implementation planning.

     

    The team works closely with cross-functional ITSM teams (i.e., Metrics & Governance, Problem Management, and Incident Response) to identify continual improvement opportunities in service delivery, drive operational excellence, and proactively reduce change-related service disruptions.

    What You Will Do

    + Execute enterprise Change Management process (review, risk assessment, approvals, scheduling, exception management, and post-implementation analysis) for digital services.

    + Develop and implement key frameworks and procedures such as a Release Management to reduce service disruptions and improve deployment coordination.

    + Enforce compliance with ITIL/ITSM standards, ensuring changes align with business goals and service delivery needs.

    + Help facilitate Change Advisory Board (CAB) and related governance forums, driving stakeholder consensus on high-risk or complex changes.

    + Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Incident, Problem) to assess change impacts and enhance process effectiveness.

    + Analyze change performance metrics to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities and drive continuous improvement efforts.

    + Maintain/develop key documentation such as knowledge articles, SOPs, and training materials.

    + Test ITSM platform upgrades and changes

    + Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and knowledge sharing across IT and business units.

    Qualifications You Must Have

    + Role typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years, prior relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 5 years’ experience

    + Minimum 5 years’ experience in a multi-tiered ITSM Change Management environment

    + Experience writing/publishing Standard Operating Procedures to be followed by change requestors, change managers, and change owners

    + Experience providing process/procedure training

    + Experience organizing and/or supporting integrated infrastructure releases

    + Experience conducting Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings

    + Strong understanding of ITSM Problem, Request, Incident, and Configuration Management practices and processes and how they related to Change

    + Experience analyzing metrics and measures, and collaborate with Problem Management and/or technology service owners to identify trends and gaps leading to disruptions in environmental stability

    Qualifications We Prefer

    + Understanding of Agile and DevOps practices ITIL V3 or V4 Certified

    + Experience in process optimization, automation, or documentation management

    + Knowledge of ITIL best practices or related certifications.

    + Familiarity with KPIs, service level agreements (SLAs), and IT operations metrics.

    + Experience with IT Service Management tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Remedy).

    + Ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders clearly.

    + Ability to speak publicly to facilitate large meetings or perform executive presentations.

    + Experience working remotely with geographically distributed teams across multiple time zones
