Description
The Home Mortgage Senior Specialist is responsible for managing the intake, processing, and monitoring of credit-qualifying assumption applications within the Special Loans Department. This role requires direct communication with customers and applicants via phone and written correspondence, ensuring accuracy and timeliness throughout the process. The Senior Specialist will work closely with other business lines, including underwriters, and perform additional Special Loans responsibilities as assigned. The position demands meticulous tracking and monitoring using MSP, Excel and SharePoint.
Qualifications
+ High School Diploma or equivalent required, Associate Degree preferred
+ 2+ mortgage experience years required, preferably in loan servicing
+ Strong organization skills
+ Strong ability to multi-task
+ Strong customer service skills
+ Strong time management skills
+ Strong knowledge of department computer applications and systems
+ Strong written and verbal communication
+ Proficiency in PC skills and MS Office
+ Strong analytical skills
+ Capacity to work independently
Hours & Work Schedule
Hours per Week: 40
Work Schedule: 8:30-5:00, 4 days in Glen Allen, VA office
