As a **Security Professional** **- Armed Retail Patrol - Full Time** in **Universal City, TX** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more.

As a Patrol Armed Security Professional with Allied Universal, you will be responsible for conducting regular patrols at a retail location, maintaining a strong presence to help to deter security-related incidents and provide peace of mind for everyone onsite. This role requires both armed and driving responsibilities, offering you the opportunity to utilize your training and certifications while engaging with the public and supporting a welcoming environment. What You’ll Do:

+ Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

+ Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education

+ Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams

+ Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service

+ Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

+ Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations at the location in a calm and problem-solving manner.

+ Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the retail environment and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.

+ Monitor for suspicious activity and report findings to Allied Universal management and/or local law enforcement as directed.

+ Assist with access control by verifying credentials and granting entry to authorized individuals.

+ Complete detailed incident reports and daily activity logs in accordance with Allied Universal and client requirements.

+ Work collaboratively with retail staff and other Allied Universal personnel to help to maintain a secure environment for customers, employees, and vendors.

+ Remain visible and approachable to help to deter unwanted behavior and provide assistance as needed.

What We’re Looking For:

+ Availability across various days and shifts

+ Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments

+ A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company

+ Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements:

+ Possess a valid armed guard card or license as required by applicable laws and regulations.

+ Hold a Level III armed certification if required by Texas state law.

+ Possess a current CPR certification; this is preferred.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
