    Accounts Payable Clerk (Contract, Hybrid)

     

    We are seeking a skilled accounting professional with strong administrative capabilities to join our team as an Accounts Payable Clerk on a contract basis in Ballston Lake, NY. This hybrid role is ideal for someone experienced in high-volume invoice processing, who thrives in a fast-paced environment and values accuracy and organization.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Accurately process and record a high volume of invoices daily.

    + Maintain detailed and organized invoice logs for tracking and reference.

    + Upload and manage invoice documentation in SharePoint.

    + Collaborate with team members to track approvals and ensure timely payments.

    + Conduct payment runs and verify transactions.

    + Assist with invoice coding and proper categorization.

    + Communicate with vendors and internal teams regarding payment status.

    + Support additional accounts payable tasks as needed.

    + Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures in all financial operations.

    Requirements • Previous experience in accounts payable or a similar role.

     

    • Proficiency in processing and coding invoices.

    • Familiarity with financial software and systems, including SharePoint.

    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

    • Ability to handle a high volume of transactions in a busy environment.

    • Excellent communication skills for interacting with vendors and colleagues.

    • Capability to work independently and meet deadlines.

    • Basic understanding of accounting principles.
